the lima civil service board will conduct an open and competitive written examination for the following position:

water total plant operations specialist (learner)

department of utilities

salary range: starting pay of $25.13 hourly

job responsibilities: under minimal direction, performs water supply and treatment functions; performs emergency functions; maintains personal and professional competence and awareness; establishes and maintains external relationships.

necessary qualifications: the training, education and work experience, which indicate possession of the knowledge, skills and abilities listed below. The minimum acceptable qualifications for this position are:

completion of secondary education, obtain a water supply license within two (2) years and possess a valid ohio driver’s license.
unlicensed candidates must pass a valid written math screening assessment
. Obtain an oepa operational laboratory chemical certification. Successfully complete the basic water course offered by the operator training committee of ohio.
