8 hours shift, must be willing to work 12 hour shifts as needed.

Primarily based in Lima, OH but must be willing to travel to our sites in Bryan, Kenton, New Carlisle, Toledo, and Tiffin, Ohio as needed.

Health Partners of Western Ohio is an independent, non-profit and community-directed organization. We serve low-income areas and places without access to care. This position will practice within the scope defined by the Ohio professional licensing board. By utilizing their pharmacy license, the Pharmacist will work with patients, providers, and other members of the health care team to provide patients with appropriate and beneficial comprehensive pharmacy services.

• Starting pay $48.55 an hour - goes up based on experience

Degree from an accredited school of pharmacy and current Pharmacy License in the State of Ohio.

Successful completion of in-house training.

• Current License in good standing with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy.
• Ability to act as a preceptor for pharmacy students.
• CPR – BLS (basic life support) required.
• Ability to respect confidentiality of patient data.
• Knowledge of insurance and third-party payment systems preferred.
• Ability to work as a team member.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours as required by position.
• Ability to work with a culturally diverse group of people.

Work is primarily sedentary, demanding sitting, walking, lifting, and bending. Those physical movements and the degree of mobility, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination commonly associated with duties in an office setting will be performed repetitively. This also includes bending, twisting, reaching, lifting, pulling, pushing, and walking. The ability to distinguish letters and symbols and utilize telephones, computer terminals, fax machines, and copiers is required.
