Behavioral Health

• Work under clinical supervision and collaborate with an interdisciplinary mental health treatment team.
• Provide assigned mental‑health interventions for a caseload of mentally ill criminal offenders.
• Complete detailed mental‑health screenings and risk assessments, including suicide watch when warranted.
• Conduct individual and group clinical interventions as outlined in each patient’s treatment plan.
• Deliver psychosocial group interventions and mental‑health liaison services, monitoring progress toward treatment goals.
• Complete psychosocial needs and treatment assessments, transfer and discharge summaries, and required documentation.
• Collaborate with other institutional staff on inmate adjustment and service needs, and maintain family and community agency contact.
• Attend supervision meetings and in‑service training sessions for professional development.

• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (MFT) issued by the Ohio Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, Marriage & Family Therapists.
• Demonstrated experience and competency in behavioral health interventions, assessment, and documentation.
