Scheduler
Functioning within the Health System’s mission, vision, values, policies and procedures the Scheduler functions as a team member with all positions in Home Health with the goal of providing quality patient care. The Scheduler is responsible for daily patient schedules for field personnel and other EMR duties.
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent (e.g. GED) is preferred. Additional education in medical terminology and/or clerical skills is preferred.
Licensure/Certification :
None required.
Experience:
One to three years experience specific to acute care/Home Health or Health System is preferred.
Skills:
Performs a variety of functions supporting the department. Must have excellent communication skills and demonstrate a professional demeanor in all situations and with all constituents including patients, physicians, and co-workers. Must exhibit patience and tact in dealing with ill patients; work with speed and proficiency while under stress; be cooperative with other associates and departments as needed; and show flexibility with work schedule changes.
