Speech Language Pathologist
Functioning within the Health System's mission, values, objectives, policies and procedures, the Speech Language Pathologist evaluates, plans, implements, administers speech therapy modalities and procedures per State of Ohio Laws and Rules Regulating the Practice of Speech Language Pathology & Audiology Chapter 4753 of the Ohio Revised Code, Chapters 4753.01 to 4753.12 of the Ohio Administrative Code. The Speech-Language Pathologist provides non-medical diagnostic and therapeutic services to inpatients and outpatients of all ages with speech-language, voice and/or swallowing/feeding problems.
The Speech Language Pathologist will provide leadership for the implementation of specialty programs and demonstrate professional conduct that is consistent with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Code of Ethics and the Code of Ethics Chapter 4753-9 of the Ohio Revised Code. The Speech Language Pathologist will be required to assist in other areas as assigned that may include Acute Care, Rehabilitation Unit, Transitional Care Unit, Pediatrics, LMHS Outpatient, and the Wellness Center.
Submission Requirements:
- 2 years of SLP experience
- Preferred - OH State License
- Required - CCC certified SLP
- Required - Education:
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited school is required.
