Schedule: Friday 7:00am - 6:00pm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Provide onsite physical therapy evaluations and interventions within scope of practice and state regulations.
- Deliver early intervention services to address musculoskeletal discomfort before recordable injury occurs.
- Identify cases requiring medical referral and coordinate appropriate escalation.
- Design and implement injury prevention and movement optimization programs.
- Conduct ergonomic assessments and job task analyses.
- Support return-to-work and transitional duty programs through functional progression.
- Document all services accurately, timely, and in compliance with legal and program standards.
- Track and report trends, outcomes, and program effectiveness.
- Educate employees on body mechanics, posture, and safe work practices.
- Collaborate with Occupational Health, Safety, HR, and leadership teams.
- Maintain clinic equipment and supplies used for PT services.
- Comply with client policies, Work Care standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform additional duties and assume responsibilities as identified by manager for the efficient operation of Work Care.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT or equivalent).
- Active Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- 2–5 years of clinical Physical Therapy experience required.
- Experience in occupational health, ergonomics, industrial rehabilitation, or sports medicine preferred.
- Clear understanding of scope of practice and regulatory compliance.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality.
- Strong critical thinking, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to create and edit written materials.
- Ability to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences.
- Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
- Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues, supervisors, and clients.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet and exceed daily and weekly individual performance goals.
- Ability to work independently and assist team members when needed.
- Requires regular and predictable attendance and punctuality.
- Strong clinical, client‑facing, and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in Windows operating system environment and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to learn and use electronic medical records and client reporting systems.
- Requires sitting for long periods of time, working at a desk.
- Some bending and stretching may be required.
- Working under stress and use of computer/phone required.
- Manual dexterity required for use of computer keyboard.
- Occasionally may be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch.
- Ability to lift or move up to 40 pounds and climb stairs.
- Primarily onsite industrial/office environment.
- The noise level is usually moderate.
- Temperature and air quality generally controlled.
