Coleman Health Services, a nationally recognized not-for-profit provider of behavioral health and rehabilitation programs, is seeking dependable individuals to work with people experiencing mental health issues in our Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) in Lima Ohio.
Responsibilities include:- Coordinating client admission, stay, and discharge, follow up with clients, support systems, treatment teams, and community providers.
- Provide direct client care, support, education, and interventions that promote independence and achievement of treatment goals.
- Monitor client needs, progress, behaviors, and changes; complete required documentation and report concerns or unusual incidents.
- Assist clients with developing skills, building independence, and participating in treatment planning.
- Monitor medications and report concerns or side effects to nursing staff as needed.
- Assist with meal planning and preparation and help maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment.
- Participate in treatment teams, staff meetings, supervision, required training, safety drills, and new staff orientation.
Shift:
We have full-time openings for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts; must be willing to work some weekends.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent. The preferred candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a related field or five years of experience in mental health. Experience in crisis intervention preferred.
