Position Description

Performs one human resources sub‑program (e.g., Personnel Actions, Position Descriptions, Workers Compensation, Disability Coordination, Health Benefits, FMLA, ADA, Performance Evaluation, Selection/Recruitment) for an assigned district. Responsibilities include composing, processing, approving, and entering personnel actions; preparing position descriptions; tracking workers’ compensation and disability benefits; enrolling employees in health benefit programs; scheduling interviews and participating in preliminary screening; maintaining tables of organization and succession plans;

researching recruitment methods and advertising vacancies; monitoring compliance with FMLA, ADA, and other regulations; coordinating performance evaluations; managing employee recognition and wellness programs; collecting and analyzing data to plan workforce needs and implement human resources initiatives.

Assists in monitoring, preparing, and processing forms and reports for non‑primary human resources sub‑programs; reviews and routes employee evaluations; attends and presents at new hire orientation sessions; responds verbally and in writing to inquiries from employees and the public; assists senior HCM staff with special projects and reports; attends meetings and seminars; orders supplies and forms; completes employment verification and reference forms.
