Janitorial Cleaner-Lima

Location: Lima, Ohio 45801
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00 PM-9:00 PM
Hours: 20 hours per week

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Janitorial Cleaner to help keep a medical building clean, neat, and safe. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys working independently in the evening.

The right person will help keep the building's common areas clean and ready for staff, patients, and visitors each day.

Clean and maintain common areas throughout the medical building.

Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors as needed.

Clean and wipe down high-touch surfaces.

Keep elevators clean and free of dirt and marks.

Clean stairways, steps, and handrails.

Empty trash cans and replace liners as needed.

Check work areas to make sure they look neat and clean.

Follow cleaning steps and safety rules.

Use cleaning supplies and equipment the right way.

Report any damage, safety concerns, or supply needs to a supervisor.

Complete assigned tasks during each shift.

Must have a valid driver's license.

Must be dependable and arrive to work on time.

Must be able to work Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Must be able to work on your feet for most of the shift.

Must be able to bend, reach, walk, and perform regular cleaning tasks.

Must be able to follow directions and work with limited supervision.

Must pay attention to details and take pride in keeping the building clean.

Must treat the medical building, its staff, patients, and visitors with respect.

Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is helpful but not required.

This position offers a steady weekday schedule with evenings free after work. You will play an important role in helping keep a medical facility clean, welcoming, and safe for everyone who enters the building.
