Warehouse Supervisor – Chemical/HAZMAT

Location:

Lima, OH.

Salary is dependent on experience, includes a 10% bonus potential and profit sharing. A 401(k) match is provided, along with benefits after 30 days of employment.

First‑shift operation only.

Lead a stable, high‑performing team on a first‑shift warehouse operation. Oversee daily operations, maintain safety and compliance, manage finances, drive continuous improvement, provide leadership and coaching, and support customer and business development.

• Operational oversight: manage daily warehouse operations and ensure alignment with performance goals.
• Safety & regulatory compliance: develop and implement hazardous materials programs, safety protocols, and health programs.
• Financial management: monitor cost controls, manage labor utilization, and prepare capital expenditure proposals.
• Quality & continuous improvement: maintain and audit the Quality Management System to ISO standards and promote improvement initiatives.
• Team leadership & coaching: conduct performance appraisals, develop succession plans, and provide leadership to reduce turnover.
• Customer & business development: act as primary contact for customer issues and support contract negotiations and visits.
• Facility & asset maintenance: oversee maintenance of facilities and equipment, identify obsolescence, and plan remodeling.

• High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–5 years of warehouse management experience.
• Experience with chemical and HAZMAT materials.
• Supervision experience in non‑union environments.
• Experience with an ERP or WMS system.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

• Experience overseeing direct and indirect reports.
• Knowledge of QMS systems, particularly ISO.
• Reporting skills.
• Strong safety and quality background.
• Budget or P&L management experience.
• 3PL experience.
