Store Manager Trainee

Position: Full-Time Store Manager Trainee
ALDI -  - Responsibilities:
Communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports; leads and develops store personnel;
Develops and implements action plans to improve operating results;
Oversees resolution of employee and customer concerns with district manager involvement as needed;
Interviews candidates for store positions and provides recommendations to the district manager;
Manages personnel including advancement and termination decisions;
Communicates and collaborates with ALDI personnel, customers, vendors, and partners;
Leads and supervises the team to drive sales, engage employees, satisfy customers, and maintain high performance;
Understands and communicates the overarching company strategy and core values;
Fosters a positive, collaborative work environment and promotes teamwork;
Oversees compliance with store policies and applicable regulations;
Trains and develops store personnel leveraging training materials;
Evaluates employee performance and provides feedback and coaching;
Ensures adherence to customer service guidelines and appropriate interactions with customers and coworkers;
Resolves store personnel and customer concerns or escalates to district manager as needed;
Models compliance with company policies and procedures;
Ensures a safe working environment and maintains equipment;
Prepares and revises weekly schedules to ensure accuracy;
Ensures adherence to expense, inventory, product handling, and cash handling policies;
Maintains store zone and merchandising standards;
Plans and implements operational initiatives to achieve KPI goals and budgets;
Attends district operations calls, one-on-ones, and training sessions;
Plans and conducts store team meetings and training events
