Material Handler

Are you a highly motivated, dependable individual looking to join our team as Material Handler
? This position is responsible for keeping materials organized and supplied to the appropriate lines.

• Operate a forklift to maneuver materials and ensure all lines stay supplied with the appropriate materials.
• Assume ownership of the cleanliness and organization of the material area.
• Drive facility organization and cleanliness by assuring things are stored in the correct places and following FIFO standards.
• Maintain and fill out a daily forklift checklist before every shift.
• Assist with any other operations as directed for production needs, including duties off the lift.

• Must have forklift certification and be willing to obtain specific certification requirements as needed per company policies.
• Must know and comply with all safety standards and processes.
• Must follow all forklift safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Maintains a work pace appropriate to the workload to meet production goals.
• Able to walk, stand, and maneuver on uneven surfaces as needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work cooperatively in a team.
• Must be able to understand and follow instructions with minimum supervision.

The pay range for this role is: 22 - 22 USD per hour (Lima - 3765 St Johns Rd).
