Operator – Intermediates

Lima, Ohio

Starting Pay: $31 per hour

Reports to:

Shift Team Leader

• Perform light maintenance and prepare equipment to enable others to safely perform maintenance.
• Safe product loading of tank wagons and railcars.
• Conduct analytical procedures for process and quality control, performance monitoring, and environmental compliance (BDO Operating Specialists).
• Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot process and equipment issues.
• Utilize a distributed control system to monitor and adjust the process.
• Work a rotating seven-day per week schedule in all weather conditions.
• Understand how systems work.
• Respond to emergency situations within the limits of training and qualifications.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to safely lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and wear respiratory protection.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• 3 years of experience in an operating environment.
• 5 years of experience in a petrochemical operating environment.
