Position Overview
This position is accountable for the daily coordination of production. It requires assessment of daily operational requirements and development of daily work assignments for each team member. This position plays a key role in achieving proper staffing levels for the production lines to ensure safety and production objectives. The incumbent is responsible for providing a safe and productive work environment and monitoring the development of team members, offering coaching and counseling to improve performance.
Accountabilities- A bachelor’s degree or a combination of college and equivalent work experience in a food manufacturing facility.
- Four to five years of progressive experience working with industrial food manufacturing equipment and supervision of multiple employees.
The incumbent is challenged to work closely with multiple cross‑functional groups. The ideal candidate will act each day as a positive example of the company values. Skills- Ability to lead and direct a diverse set of human resources
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Operating knowledge of computers, desktop software, and business systems
- High School equivalency math skills
- Must possess knowledge in the area of safety; including OSHA and other applicable federal and state regulations.
- Knowledgeable of food processing, HACCP, GMPs and sanitation preferred

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to cold, wet or humid conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and the noise level can be loud.
- Requires walking, sitting, standing and bending for long periods of time
- May lift up to 30lbs occasionally
- Vision abilities required to read instructions and to enter data on computer
