Shift Details
Work shift:
12 hours with a 2-on/2-off/3-on schedule. Shift time: 6 AM – 6:30 PM.
PBNA compensation $27.10 per hour.
Position OverviewOperates one or multiple pieces of manufacturing equipment, including raw material handling to the production line, and/or filling, capping, sealing, labeling or packaging product. Removes damaged products or supplies as needed, and is responsible for production, packaging, and flavor changeovers. Maintains required product inspection processes and performs basic troubleshooting and minor repairs to ensure equipment runs efficiently.
Required physical demands include lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling cases weighing 20–45 pounds repeatedly during a long shift. Employee will walk or stand most of the time and may stoop, crawl, and crouch over and under conveyors. May need to work weekends and/or holidays.
Primary Accountabilities- Operate and monitor production line(s) to ensure efficiency.
- Remove or shift materials and/or finished products to facilitate proper flow.
- Ensure package and product quality.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Operate all manufacturing equipment efficiently and safely.
- Clean equipment and area before, during, and after shift.
- Maintain clean work area through good housekeeping practices.
- Expedite repairs to line, working with maintenance as necessary.
- Keep daily records of down time and machine operations.
- Work well with others in a team‑oriented atmosphere.
- Maintain regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
- Operate blending equipment, including the High Shear / High Speed mixer, safely while batching in a timely manner.
- Setup outgoing concentrate shipments and receive concentrate as part of shipping and receiving duties.
- Perform weekly concentrate inventory and PQI duties.
- 18 years or older.
- Experience with high-speed production lines and fast-paced manufacturing environments.
- Experience with pallets, operating forklifts, stacking/bundling product.
- Experience operating packing machines, filling machines, and palletizers.
- Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and work schedules.
- Familiarity with computer systems in a manufacturing setting and basic troubleshooting.
- Experience with sanitization procedures, GAMP, and identifying risks.
- Ability to perform minor mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance.
