Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, General Labor
This position is responsible for performing body repairs, general maintenance, and painting of semi-trucks and other equipment. The role requires completing all work safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company quality standards to ensure equipment remains in optimal operating condition.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform necessary repairs and adjustments using tools and other necessary equipment
- Observe safety rules and regulations, shops rules, company policy, and other instructions from management
- Mix paint according to specifications
- Selects and mixes coating liquid to produce desired color
- Paints surfaces using sprayer or brush
- Inspects painted units for quality workmanship, noting any runs or unpainted areas
- Responsible for refinishing all assigned vehicles
- Regular onsite attendance is required
- All other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
