Holewatch/Firewatch, Pipe Welders + Pipe fitters - Cenovus Refinery Turnaround - 13/1 - OH

Holewatch/Firewatch personnel, Pipe Welders, and Pipe fitters will support a temporary turnaround project at the Cenovus Refinery in Lima, Ohio. These crafts will help maintain safe operations, monitor active work areas, and complete piping and welding work during 10-hour shifts on a 13/1 schedule. Ideal candidates are dependable, safety-focused workers with relevant refinery, turnaround, industrial construction, pipe fitting, or welding experience.

• Ability to work the required 13/1 turnaround schedule
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work safely in an industrial/refinery environment
• Ability to follow refinery, project, company, and site-specific safety requirements
• Ability to pass required site safety training
• Ability to meet background requirements
• Ability to pass drug screening
• Holewatch/Firewatch personnel must be able to remain alert and focused for extended periods and monitor workplace hazards
• Pipe Welders must be proficient with welding equipment and able to prepare, fit, and weld pipe joints
• Pipe Welders must be able to read and follow Welding Procedure Specifications, drawings, and welding requirements
• Pipe Welders must be able to identify visual weld defects and pass the required weld test
• Pipe fitters must be able to read and interpret piping and isometric drawings
• Pipe fitters must understand pipe, fittings, valves, supports, and proper installation methods
• Pipe fitters must be able to accurately measure, align, and fit piping components
• Pipe Welders and Pipe fitters must be able to meet the physical demands of the positions

• Previous Fire Watch or Hole Watch experience
• Previous pipe welding or pipe fitting experience
• Previous refinery experience
• Previous petrochemical experience
• Previous turnaround experience
• Previous industrial construction experience
