Coordinator of Stewardship and Donor Experience (Lima Campus)
The Coordinator of Stewardship and Donor Experience leads the planning and execution of donor relations and stewardship efforts at Ohio State Lima. Reporting to the Development Senior Director and working closely with the Lima Advancement team, this role advances campus fundraising efforts through meaningful donor recognition, engagement, and communication, with a focus on gratitude and impact.
This position manages a stewardship portfolio, developing and implementing targeted and broad-based plans to ensure donors feel valued and informed. Responsibilities include monitoring the use of gift and scholarship funds, contributing to donor impact reports, and leveraging institutional data systems to analyze donor information and inform strategy.
The coordinator supports donor cultivation by identifying and tracking prospects, assessing giving capacity, and strengthening the donor pipeline. The role may engage with donors and prospects to deepen relationships and support strategic fundraising conversations.
In addition, this position coordinates donor and alumni events and supports the daily operations of the Advancement office, including managing workflows, coordinating schedules and communications, and maintaining an organized and responsive office environment. The coordinator oversees procurement activities, including serving as the P-Card manager, processing purchases and reimbursements, and ensuring compliance with university policies and systems such as Workday and Spend Authorization processes.
This role also provides professional, front-line support to the Development Senior Director.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable, with strong customer service skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. They demonstrate sound judgment and discretion with sensitive information, communicate effectively with diverse audiences, and bring experience in program coordination, relationship management, and data-informed decision-making. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, data tools, and professional writing is required.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 2 years of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
