• Active RN License.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS Certification.
• At least eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting.
• Additional requirements as determined by the client facility.

• Assess patient needs, signs, and symptoms indicating physiological and psychosocial changes; utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from healthcare team members; document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
• Document the patient’s plan of care, including identified nursing diagnoses, expected outcomes, and selected interventions.
• Initiate and evaluate patient and/or family education.
• Revise and document the plan of care based on evaluation, changes in medical plan or nursing interventions.
