Schedule/Hours- 12-hour night shifts
- Every other weekend and holiday commitment
- Deliver patient-centered care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Float between PCU and MS/Tele units based on hospital needs, adapting to a variety of acuity levels.
- Serve as primary point of contact for patient care coordination across hospital departments.
- Act as a safety and patient advocate, engaging in ongoing quality improvement efforts.
- Clinically manage patients with multi-system organ failure, trauma, and advanced respiratory needs.
- Administer medications safely and ensure thorough documentation.
- Provide education to patients, families, and team members, supporting holistic patient care.
- Unencumbered RN license (compact or Ohio)
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience (2+ years preferred, especially in stepdown/PCU settings)
- Travel nursing experience highly regarded
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required; CCRN or PCCN preferred
- Proficient in interpreting dysrhythmias (study guide provided for exam)
- Ventilator management experience a plus
- Comfortable floating between MS/Tele and PCU units, adapting to changing patient assignments
- Navy blue scrubs required
