Travel Stepdown RN - Lima, Ohio

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

• 12-hour night shifts
• Every other weekend and holiday commitment

• Deliver patient-centered care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Float between PCU and MS/Tele units based on hospital needs, adapting to a variety of acuity levels.
• Serve as primary point of contact for patient care coordination across hospital departments.
• Act as a safety and patient advocate, engaging in ongoing quality improvement efforts.
• Clinically manage patients with multi-system organ failure, trauma, and advanced respiratory needs.
• Administer medications safely and ensure thorough documentation.
• Provide education to patients, families, and team members, supporting holistic patient care.

• Unencumbered RN license (compact or Ohio)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience (2+ years preferred, especially in stepdown/PCU settings)
• Travel nursing experience highly regarded
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required; CCRN or PCCN preferred
• Proficient in interpreting dysrhythmias (study guide provided for exam)
• Ventilator management experience a plus
• Comfortable floating between MS/Tele and PCU units, adapting to changing patient assignments
• Navy blue scrubs required
