Join our healthcare partner in Lima, OH, where you'll play a vital role in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. As a Registered Nurse in the stepdown unit, you will be responsible for:

• Providing comprehensive care to post-operative open heart patients
• Managing chest tubes and other drains
• Delivering pre- and post-procedure care for patients with radial and femoral access
• Proficiently monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes
• Assisting with procedures such as chest tube removal and pacing wire management
• Utilizing and troubleshooting non-invasive ventilation devices and oxygen delivery systems
• Floating to all units within your skill level as needed

Requirements for this role include:

• Need 2 years experience in setting
• Post-operative open heart care experience
• Critical care experience highly preferred
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and advanced knowledge of cardiac and pulmonary abnormalities
• Active American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
• Active Ohio or Compact RN License
