Job Summary
The Inpatient Rehab Registered Nurse (RN) position is responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to patients by:
- Utilizing strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status
- Implementing clinical nursing interventions
- Having a highly diverse medical skillset
- Developing and performing patient care plans to enhance and improve outcomes
- Ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment
Part‑time nights: 7:00 pm–7:00 am, every 3rd weekend.
Essential Functions- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
- Collect vital signs, administer IV medications, understand charting, and assess patient condition
- Assess, stage, photograph, and measure wounds accurately and in accordance with policy
- Evaluate, update, and revise the plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes
- Administer medications in a safe manner consistent with the State of Practice and the organization’s policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
- Graduate of an accredited Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
- 1 year of clinical patient care experience in an acute care setting, long‑term care facility, or physician practice (preferred, not required)
- 1 year of experience in an acute rehabilitation facility (preferred, not required)
- EPIC Electronic Health Record training (preferred, not required)
