Registered Nurse (RN) – Corrections (2nd Shift)

Lima, OH 45801 (On‑site)

Schedule:

2:30 PM – 10:30 PM | Every 3rd weekend | 40 hrs/week

Contract to hire

• $45-$50 an hr

A-Line Staffing is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide professional nursing care in a state-operated correctional healthcare setting in Lima, OH. You’ll support patient/inmate care including assessment, medication administration, treatment plans, documentation, and emergency response.

• Perform RN assessment, monitoring, and documentation (vitals, symptoms, progress)
• Administer prescribed medications and ordered treatments (including narcotics as applicable)
• Provide direct nursing care and respond to emergencies (first aid, escalation/transport as needed)
• Support specialized procedures as needed (may include IV therapy, wound care, oxygen therapy, dialysis support, etc.)
• Maintain accurate charts/records and complete incident/accident reports when needed
• Assist with coordinating clinic appointments, prescriptions, and supplies
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and help orient/train lower-level staff as assigned

• Active Ohio RN license (required)
• CPR/BLS certification (healthcare-provider level)
• Ability to work in a secure environment and follow facility policies/procedures
• Strong documentation skills and reliable attendance
