Registered Nurse – Critical Care

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed

Requirements:

• 2+ Years of Experience
• Post-operative open heart care experience
• Chest tube and other drain management experience
• Pre- and post-procedure care for patients with radial and femoral access
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, including reading and interpreting cardiac rhythm strips and recognizing changes in cardiac rhythms
• Advanced knowledge of cardiac and pulmonary abnormalities
• Experience with assisting in various procedures and equipment management including chest tube removal and temporary pacing
• Active Ohio or Compact RN License
• Active American Heart Association BLS Certification
• Active American Heart Association ACLS Certification

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on age-specific criteria.
• Make judgments based on scientific knowledge and clinical skills.
• Assist in planning, directing, and teaching non-RN staff.
• Float to all units within skill level as necessary.
