Seeking Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for Cardiology Electrophysiology (EP) - Mercy Health Lima, OH

Mercy Health in Lima, Ohio has an exciting opportunity for a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our employed Cardiology Group. This position has a Cath Lab/Electrophysiology focus and is part of a robust team with an excellent reputation for amazing patient care.

• Experience preferred, new graduates will be considered.
• Focus will be outpatient diagnostics, EP procedures, and immediate post procedural care. Goal - excellent workflow efficiency and patient outcomes.
• Prioritization of timely, standardized documentation and individualized discharge planning allowing proceduralists to focus on high acuity and complex procedures.
• Formulate diagnosis, identify problems and health risk profiles, assess labs, interpret diagnostic tests, evaluate and manage consultations, referrals, and discharges.
• This position does not have a call responsibility. Extended hours welcomed.
• Typical day - See patients in pre and post procedural areas, pre and post procedural orders, patient education, participate in procedures as a part of the care team, collaborate with in house NP or PA for patient centric care.
