An occupational health company located in Lima, OH is currently seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner to join their team full‑time! Check out the details below:

Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire

Setting: Occupational Health - Construction

Location: Lima, OH

Schedules Available: Full-time (36 hrs/wk) or Part-time (24 hrs/wk), 12-hour shifts. Openings available on 1st or 2nd shift. All schedules require some Saturdays.

Pay: Competitive compensation plus full benefits (over 30hrs/wk) based on experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner will provide primary occupational health services for employees in a construction setting, evaluating and treating workplace injuries while promoting employee health and safety.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat work‑related illnesses and injuries.
  • Provide first aid, order appropriate diagnostic testing, prescribe medications as appropriate, and coordinate follow-up care.
  • Perform pre‑employment physicals, DOT/non‑DOT exams (if applicable), health screenings, and drug testing.
  • Manage workers' compensation cases, return‑to‑work evaluations, and workplace accommodations.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, ADA, FMLA, and other occupational health regulations.
  • Develop and support employee wellness and injury prevention initiatives.
  • Respond to workplace medical emergencies and provide medical guidance as needed.
  • Collaborate with physicians, HR, safety personnel, and leadership to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Active Ohio Nurse Practitioner license (or eligibility for licensure).
  • National NP certification required.
  • DEA license (or ability to obtain) preferred.

    Occupational Health, Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, or Primary Care experience preferred but not required.
