• Provide comprehensive peri-anesthesia nursing care for patients across pre-, intra-, and post-anesthesia phases, following ASPAN standards.
• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments; develop and update an individualized plan of care for the peri-anesthesia continuum.
• Assist with nerve blocks and peri-anesthesia planning; address the patient’s physical, psychological, educational, sociocultural, and spiritual needs.
• Communicate with the anesthesiology team; document findings and report problems to anesthesia; participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning.
• Administer and oversee post-anesthesia Phase I care, transitioning to Phase II as appropriate; monitor vital signs, manage pain, and support safe recovery and discharge.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure continuity of care during handoffs; respond promptly to changes in patient status and be available for on-call duties within 30 minutes.

• Current, active Ohio RN license
• Minimum 3 years PACU experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications current
• Education:
  
  RN degree (diploma/bachelor’s) from an accredited program
• Ability to work in a hospital PACU setting and collaborate with anesthesia and perioperative teams
• On-call readiness with a 30-minute response time
