Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
ScheduleVaried shifts (12 hours), including nights and weekends, with flexible scheduling options available.
Job DescriptionThe Registered Nurse (RN) will function within the Health System's mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures, assuming responsibility and accountability for the care of assigned patients during their shifts. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using age-specific criteria, making clinical judgments based on scientific knowledge and skills.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care for assigned patients in the Obstetrics department.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Implement patient care plans and evaluate outcomes.
- Assist in directing and teaching non-RN staff, including LPNs and PCTs.
- Function as a first assist and scrub for OB procedures (highly preferred).
- 2+ years of OB experience (required).
- Completion of at least one travel assignment (required).
- Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license (required).
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification (required).
- Current American Heart Association ACLS certification (required).
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (required).
- Active S.T.A.B.L.E. certification (required).
- Active Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification (required).
