Veterinary Technician Wanted

West Central Ohio Veterinary Emergency Services, LLC is looking for full-time and/or part-time, highly motivated, personable, reliable team player with enthusiasm for veterinary healthcare. We are a high-quality, after-hours, urgent care facility, located in Lima, Ohio. The successful candidate must enjoy working with animals and especially their owner.

Preferred applicants would be licensed or able to sit for the VTNE in the next 12 months, be friendly, outgoing, have a polished, professional appearance, and be detail oriented. In addition to assisting the doctor in a technical capacity, candidates must be willing and able to professionally greet clients in person and on the telephone, promote the positive image of the hospital, act as the clients’ liaison to the doctors, check patients in and out, collect fees, and perform light cleaning.

Knowledge of Clientrax software is a bonus!

Applicants must be willing to work nights, weekend hours, and holidays on rotation as we are an emergency clinic. Our hours of operation are:

• Monday – Thursday 6 pm to 8 am
• Friday 6 pm to Monday 8 am
• 24 hours for all major holidays

Full-time Employment Benefits include:

• Salary $16.50–$30 per hour depending on licensure and experience
• Paid time off after 90 days
