Human Resources Expert

The Starting Hourly Rate is $15.00 USD per hour. The Pay Range is $15.00 USD – $22.50 USD per hour.

Target is a national retailer dedicated to providing families with everyday products and services. The Human Resources Expert role supports Target’s mission by building a passionate, inclusive sales force.

• Create an easy and inspiring guest experience by delivering on a set of guest interaction commitments.
• Greet guests with friendly demeanor, use positive body language and assist them in finding items or resolving issues.
• Support team members and leaders in talent and staffing needs, including recruiting, onboarding and training.
• Manage scheduling system and pay practices, ensuring accurate workforce data.
• Enforce compliance policies, safety procedures and ethical conduct.
• Collaborate with leaders and peers to address business and guest needs.
• Perform other related duties as required.

• Experience interacting with guests and colleagues in a fast‑moving retail environment.
• Ability to work flexible, varying hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays and peak shopping periods.
• Strong communication skills, using multiple devices and handheld scanners when directed.
• Detail‑oriented with the capacity to follow multi‑step processes and keep composure under pressure.
• Team‑player who can work independently or collaboratively.

• Accurate handling of cash register operations as needed.
• Frequent lifting of merchandise up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 44 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, humidity and other environmental conditions during Drive‑Up, carryout and other duties.
• Remain mobile throughout scheduled shifts, which may vary in length.
• Flexible work schedule required; attendance on scheduled shifts and observance of meal and rest breaks.
