AE - Store Team Leader; Store Manager

Role Overview

As the full‑time Store Team Leader you serve as the CEO of your store. You are an entrepreneurial business owner who maximizes daily operations, builds a strong team through coaching and training, makes strategic decisions, delivers operational excellence, and maintains AEO Brand Standards. You also bring your authentic self to work every day.

• Drive sales by maximizing store productivity and building guest loyalty through a best‑in‑class guest experience.
• Own the store’s business plan, analyze reporting and daily sales trends, and make real‑time, innovative business decisions to meet financial goals.
• Recruit, hire, and retain a high‑performing team; advocate for their development, promote internal advancement, and maintain a succession plan and career path.
• Champion a culture of teamwork and recognition; set and communicate goals, hold your team accountable to brand standards, and celebrate outstanding performance daily.
• Maintain AEO Brand Visual Standards by owning all visual and merchandising processes and ensuring a clear understanding of each associate’s role in keeping the store guest‑ready.
• Manage workforce scheduling, evaluate traffic, calendars, and payroll reports to align staffing with business needs while keeping payroll in check.
• Act with integrity—demonstrate fairness in compensation, audit and shrink results, and follow AEO policies and procedures.

• Passion for AE and Aerie products.
• Prior leadership experience in retail management.
• Excellent multitasking, attention to detail, priority setting, and time management skills.
• Strong communication, conflict management, and employment law knowledge.
• Business acumen and reporting analysis skills.
