As a Store Manager in Training, you’ll engage in on‑the‑job training to learn how to manage profitable operations. Your day‑to‑day duties include:

• Recruit and hire store associates to serve customers.
• Foster growth and development of associates through training on operations and merchandising, while coaching and correcting when appropriate.
• Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Implement operational and merchandising direction from corporate headquarters.
• Help the store reach its maximum profit contribution.
• Protect company assets.
• Maintain a high level of customer service across the store.
• Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions.

• Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience preferred.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plus.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high‑energy team environment required.
• Must lift between 30 to 50 lbs. from floor to shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Salary range: $43,994.08 to $54,999.36 per year.
