As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Shift in Lima, OH
, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. This is an unarmed officer role at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. You will deliver customer service and communication while supporting a team known for agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

• Thu 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials where required, and support site rules for restricted areas, vehicle traffic, and visitor processing in accordance with location policies.
• Communicate with site personnel, contractors, and emergency responders as needed, providing clear information and support during routine operations and unusual events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
