Security Officer Patrol Unit Driver (Lima, OH)Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour
Job Schedule: Monday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM, Wednesday 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Thursday 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
What You'll Do:- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols, reporting discrepancies, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Support daily operations by observing site conditions, following post orders, and completing routine reports related to incidents, patrols, and other security-related duties.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
