Pole Crew Member

Overview

Crew Member Utility Pole Inspection. As a utility pole inspection crew member, you will learn and work in providing routine maintenance and remedial treatment of wood poles used to carry power lines and other above-ground utility lines. You will also gain experience identifying any decay or defects.

Pay
: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour based on experience

• Must provide acceptable workwear and boots with a hard toe

• Complete routine maintenance and remedial treatment of wood poles
• Maintain all tools, vehicles, and equipment
• Achieve expected safety, quality, and production goals

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to read maps and navigate in congested areas
• Mechanically inclined; experience with a variety of tools preferred but not required
• This is a minimum 40-hour workweek with Saturdays considered inclement weather make-up days
• Must adhere to all Company policies and procedures

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred

• Upon offer, employees may be required to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check

• Driver License preferred but not required

Willing to travel locally, statewide, and regionally as needed. Overnight stays will be necessary (Paid hotel accommodations provided by the employer along with a per-diem).
