Lima, OH, US
• Full Time
• 2nd shift (Monday - Friday, 2:30 PM – 12:00 AM)
Salary: $27.00 to $29.00 per hour
What you’ll do:
- Troubleshoot and perform mechanical/electrical repairs on various types of equipment including cranes, forklifts, presses, mills, etc.
- Determine root cause of equipment problems and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime.
- Operate mobile equipment including scissors lifts, boom lifts, forklifts, cranes and other to perform job tasks.
- Perform preventive maintenance on all tools, machinery and equipment.
- Complete individual work orders in a thorough and timely manner.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
- Conditions can be hot, cold, dirty, and noisy. The job is within a fast-paced, heavy industrial environment and you may be required to work within various areas of the plant.
- Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures/guidelines must be adhered to at all times. This includes safety wear such as hearing and eye protection, protective clothing and steel-toed shoes.
- Attendance and showing up to work on time are important to the success of the plant; dependable attendance is expected.
What you’ll need:
- Sophisticated knowledge of electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanics with the ability to use this knowledge to install, maintain, and repair plant equipment.
- Experience with repairs on hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical equipment.
- Ability to operate various electric, pneumatic, and other hand tools.
- Positive “Can Do” attitude, able to weather setbacks and cultural resistance.
- Must be able to work individually and as part of a team.
- Reliable and predictable attendance.
