• Full Time
• 2nd shift (Monday - Friday, 2:30 PM – 12:00 AM)

Salary: $27.00 to $29.00 per hour

What you’ll do:

• Troubleshoot and perform mechanical/electrical repairs on various types of equipment including cranes, forklifts, presses, mills, etc.
• Determine root cause of equipment problems and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime.
• Operate mobile equipment including scissors lifts, boom lifts, forklifts, cranes and other to perform job tasks.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all tools, machinery and equipment.
• Complete individual work orders in a thorough and timely manner.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
• Conditions can be hot, cold, dirty, and noisy. The job is within a fast-paced, heavy industrial environment and you may be required to work within various areas of the plant.
• Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures/guidelines must be adhered to at all times. This includes safety wear such as hearing and eye protection, protective clothing and steel-toed shoes.
• Attendance and showing up to work on time are important to the success of the plant; dependable attendance is expected.

What you’ll need:

• Sophisticated knowledge of electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanics with the ability to use this knowledge to install, maintain, and repair plant equipment.
• Experience with repairs on hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to operate various electric, pneumatic, and other hand tools.
• Positive “Can Do” attitude, able to weather setbacks and cultural resistance.
• Must be able to work individually and as part of a team.
• Reliable and predictable attendance.
