Swartz Restoration & Emergency Services is a trusted leader in disaster restoration and emergency services. We help our customers put their lives back together and are seeking a Painter/Drywall professional with a minimum of 3 years of proven skills to restore residential and commercial properties damaged by water, fire, smoke, wind, and other perils.

• A minimum of 3 years of proven professional painting and drywalling
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen (pre-employment and random)
• Must reside within a 30-mile radius of the Swartz Restoration office in Lima, OH
• Experience with drywall and painting
• Proficiency using carpentry tools and equipment and own a set of standard hand and power tools
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Ability to interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner and ensure client satisfaction at all times
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow directions
• Dedicated to consistently performing quality work
• Willingness to participate in the rotating on-call schedule to respond to emergency jobs on evenings and weekends

• Complete assigned punch list repairs in reconstruction projects while following the scope of work and adhering to project timelines (focus on painting and drywall)
• Complete work orders as given by the project manager
• Complete assigned jobs within budget and on time
• Collaborate with the mitigation department as requested
• Clean up assigned job sites; may work on multiple sites in a day
• Keep equipment clean and organized in the shop and in the vehicle
• Respond to emergency calls on evenings and weekends (board ups, setting mitigation equipment, tarping roofs, and securing the property)
• Other duties as assigned
