Heavy Equipment Field Service Mechanic Picture your day starting with a synced tablet that already has your route, prioritized work orders, and live data feeds from fleets spanning countless makes and models. You review service intervals, line up parts, and roll out—ready to pinpoint root causes quickly using real-time diagnostics. Out in the field or back at the shop, your focus is clear: restore equipment to peak performance, safely and efficiently.

What you’ll do Apply safe work practices on every repair and maintenance task.

Use laptops and tablets to create, assign, and track work orders, manage service intervals, and order parts.

Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems across a wide range of rental and customer-owned equipment and tools—often working independently and exercising sound judgment.

Provide hands-on guidance to junior technicians as needed.

Document work performed in work orders thoroughly and on time each day.

Assist with equipment and parts pick-up and delivery.

Travel to customer job sites for on-site service when required and keep your service vehicle clean and professional.

Leverage live equipment data from hundreds of models to accelerate troubleshooting and corrective actions.

Stay aligned with OSHA standards and best practices (knowledge preferred).Tackle other duties as assigned.
