Yard Spotter CDL

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Yard Spotter to support daily warehouse operations. This role is responsible for safely moving trailers within the yard to ensure efficient workflow and on-time operations.

• Transport trailers in and out of dock doors and designated yard locations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance
• Monitor and track trailer locations (empty and loaded) within the yard
• Follow supervisor instructions to move trailers as needed
• Attend safety meetings and follow all company safety protocols

• Minimum 2+ years of driving experience preferred
• Valid Class A CDL required
• Basic mechanical knowledge (trailer issues, inspections, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (walking, bending, climbing)
