RN - ER

The Emergency Department provides care for patients with a wide variety of needs, from non-critical to emergent medical conditions, including urgent mental health care. All patients are welcome, whether walking in or arriving by emergency transport. All Emergency Department staff are certified to care for critical cardiac and trauma patients, including children.

The responsibilities of the Emergency Department Registered Nurse include, but are not limited to:

• Providing care for patients in emergency situations
• Assessing and triaging patients based on severity of condition
• Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Maintaining patient safety and comfort during care delivery

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
• ACLS, TNCC, NIHSS and PALS certifications required.
