Job Summary

As a Labor And Delivery Nurse (LDRP) Registered Nurse (RN), you will be responsible for providing care and support to women during childbirth, as well as assisting with the care of newborn babies. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of both mother and baby during the labor and delivery process.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Monitor and assess the progress of labor
  • Administer medications as needed
  • Assist with pain management techniques
  • Provide emotional support to patients and their families
  • Assist with the delivery of newborn babies
  • Monitor the health and well-being of both mother and baby post-delivery
  • Educate patients on postpartum care and newborn care
  • Document patient care and progress accurately
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
    • Qualifications and Skills
  • Valid RN license
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing
  • Certification in Labor And Delivery nursing preferred
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
