Obstetrics, Neonatal/ NICU Nurse
Registered Nurse - Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum Care
This is a Night shift position ) with rotating weekends. One 12-hour call shift is required per pay period.
The LDRP team provides comprehensive labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn care in a family-centered, safe medical environment. Our highly trained nurses and medical staff are dedicated to delivering exceptional care for both mothers and their newborns. All team members are trained in GYN surgical care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care during labor and delivery, including monitoring and support for high-risk neonates.
- Assist in postpartum care for new mothers and their infants.
- Conduct triage and assess patient conditions in a timely manner.
- Utilize basic fetal monitoring skills to ensure the wellbeing of both mother and child.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to promote positive health outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current unencumbered Oregon RN license upon submission.
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required.
- AHA ACLS and NRP certifications are required.
- Basic fetal monitoring skills are required; STABLE certification is preferred.
- Previous experience in triage, labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery care is required.
- Experience in stabilization of high-risk neonates is preferred.
