Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment. Responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing patient care for a wide range of medical and mental health conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients’ conditions upon arrival and prioritize care based on urgency.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to established protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in clinical status promptly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and modify care plans.
• Educate patients and family members about treatment plans and health management.

Qualifications:

• Hold an unencumbered Oregon RN license.
• Possess Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification.
• Obtain NLH Emergency certifications: ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Demonstrate proficiency in emergency patient assessment and acute care.
• Maintain current knowledge of emergency nursing practices and procedures.
