Literacy Coach - Raupp
Lincoln Park Public Schools announces a vacancy for the school year. Position:
Literacy Coach. Grant funded.
Qualifications:
Valid Michigan teaching certificate with proper endorsement, meeting MCL 380.1531 & Administrative Rules Governing the Certification of MI Teachers, minimum of 5 years teaching experience, knowledge of current literacy practices and strategies, skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships. Duties:
Coordinate and provide strategic instructional coaching, model effective instructional strategies, facilitate study groups, train teachers in data analysis and differentiated instruction, coach and mentor colleagues, ensure evidence-based reading programs, work with teachers in applying evidence-based reading strategies in other content areas, increase instructional density, help lead and support reading leadership teams, model and train teachers in accordance with Lincoln Park Schools instructional philosophy and curriculum, model small and whole group instruction, train new hires before school starts.
