Job Title:

RN – Oncology MCC-9 (Part-Time, Day Shift) at RWJ New Brunswick. Salary: $47.85 – $71.72 per hour.

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Registered Nurse for our Oncology Unit (MCC-9) at the Morris Cancer Center at the New Brunswick campus. This 32‑bed unit has all private rooms and serves a variety of medical oncology, surgical oncology, blood disorders, and intermediate care patients.

• BSN
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills

• At least 1-3 years of Oncology RN experience
• Oncology or BMTU certification preferred

• BLS and ACLS certification
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License

• Day Shift, 36 hours per week, 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
• Monday‑Friday, some weekend and holiday rotation
• Part‑time

• The Registered Nurse provides nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards and ensures awareness of ethical standards as defined by the ANA code of ethics.
• Assures safety in practice, promotes evidence‑based practices, and maintains personal knowledge and professional development.
• Reports identified safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors.
• Possesses knowledge of the patient population served.
• Supervises and delegates tasks to appropriate team members and collaborates with other patient care providers.
• Consistently sets and evaluates priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes toward improvement.
• Serves as an individual practitioner and interdisciplinary team manager, using the nursing process to integrate all aspects of care and individualize the plan of care to address specific patient needs.
