Clinical Care Technician, Oncology Unit Morris Cancer Center- Unit 8

Job Overview

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Clinical Care Technician (CCT) for our Oncology Unit 8 at the Morris Cancer Center, located in our New Brunswick Facility. This is a full‑time day shift position (7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., 40 hours per week) with every other weekend and some holidays.

Hourly wage range: $20.11 – $28.67 per hour.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification from the American Heart Association.

Preferred:

• Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.

Day shift, 40 hours per week (5 shifts per week), 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., includes every other weekend and some holidays.

• Perform direct patient care, including activities of daily living, vital signs, EKG, phlebotomy, bathing, mouth care, skin care, and bedside assistance.
• Provide patient care appropriate to the age and condition of patients in the assigned service.
• Maintain effective and safe patient outcomes through sound judgment and critical actions.
• Communicate regularly with patients and nursing colleagues regarding patient status.
• Collaborate with the patient's care team from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitions.
