Job Purpose
Lead and create processes to monitor, analyze, and report Cost Per Unit (CPU) data across the logistics network to support the overall Transportation cost and budget evaluations. This role ensures CPU accuracy, identifies cost variances, and provides actionable insights that support a $500M+ transportation budget and drive cost optimization strategies.
Key Accountabilities
* Lead the collection, validation, and analysis for Transportation cost data across new and existing production models, routes, and regions to calculate CPU and monitor/modify systems and processes to meet overall customer requirements.
* Provide direction for CPU variance investigation, identify cost drivers, and prepare detailed variance explanations for budget evaluations and planning purposes.
* Standardize and document Transportation CPU calculation processes and support cross-functional cost improvement initiatives
* Lead Transportation CPU planning, including changepoint analysis and cost input logic for new model launch and maker layout evaluations.
* Provide direction to develop and maintain dashboards/reports and lead improvement CPU visibility
* Lead Transportation CPU business plan theme cost activity and associate development opportunities for system/analytics training
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Minimum Education al
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Finance, or related field
Average
Experience:
* 2-6 years in logistics, supply chain cost analysis, or financial reporting

* Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and database reporting tools
* Ability to interpret and communicate financial/variance data to leadership

Working Conditions
* Fast-paced environment with critical deadlines
* Requires overtime during budget cycles (5-10 hours per week on average)
* Occasional travel between plants/divisions or for project assignments
* Hybrid work conditions with mix of data analysis and collaboration with cross-functional teams
