The Maintenance HVAC Technician is responsible for operating, maintaining, and performing repairs on assigned HVAC and Refrigeration equipment and controls, chilled water systems, boilers, and various other mechanical, electrical and building systems in such manner as to eliminate system downtime and ensure optimal client relations.

Schedule:
2nd Shift, 2/2/3 rotation (6:00PM-6:00AM)
Compensation: $27-29/hour. The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Responsibilities- Troubleshoot, calibrate and adjust pilots, thermostats and burners, transformers, controls, relays, heaters, elements, switches and controls on electrical systems
- Install, maintain and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment
- Identify maintenance risks on equipment
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems
- Clean, adjust and repair systems, and perform warranty services
- Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
- Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Complete other duties as assigned
- Willingness to work at various heights: comfortable working in elevated environments, including tasks at different heights for extended periods
- Ladder climbing: capable of safely ascending and descending ladders of various sizes and types
- Utilize various lifts: proficient with scissor lifts, boom lifts, and other devices to reach higher areas
- 3–5 years of HVAC maintenance experience (commercial/industrial)
- EPA 608 Certification
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong understanding of building systems and safety protocols
- Ability to work at heights and operate various lifts
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions
- Skill in using hand and power tools
- Must be authorized to work in the US
