HVAC Technician

ABM Industries is hiring an experienced HVAC Technician to support facility operations across diverse commercial environments. In this role, you'll inspect, maintain, and repair rooftop units, chillers, boilers, heat pumps, and ventilation systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable building performance. Responsibilities include diagnosing HVAC/electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, documenting work orders, and adhering to strict safety standards. You'll interact with clients and onsite teams, support energy efficiency initiatives, and contribute to ABM's culture of safety, respect, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems, including RTUs, chillers, boilers, and ventilation equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to maximize system reliability and lifespan.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues using meters, gauges, and diagnostic tools.
• Respond to service calls, prioritize work orders, and document all work in CMMS or service logs.
• Monitor and adjust controls and building automation systems to optimize comfort and energy efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards, including EPA and OSHA guidelines.
• Coordinate with facility managers, building engineers, and vendors to support seamless operations.
• Recommend repairs, upgrades, and energy-saving opportunities to clients and supervisors.
• Maintain tools, parts, and inventory in a clean, organized, and secure manner.
• Support ABM's culture of safety, respect, teamwork, and continuous improvement on every site.
