Job Description

Domino’s Pizza is looking for qualified drivers to staff stores in your area. We offer flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth, from delivery driver to management and franchise ownership.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record that meets company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle suitable for delivery.
• Must have navigational skills to read maps, locate addresses within the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings.

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

Orientation and training are provided on the job.

• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (calculator may be used).
• Must be able to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the delivery area.
• Must navigate adverse terrain, including multi‑story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.

• Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.
• In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F or higher in some work areas.
• Sudden changes in temperature in work area and while outside.
• Fumes from food odors; exposure to cornmeal dust.
• Cramped quarters, including walk‑in cooler.
• Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher.
• Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
• Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when delivering product, driving and couponing.

• Talking and hearing on telephone; near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.
• Depth perception.
• Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
• Far vision and night vision for driving.

Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, manage stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.

Willingness to learn and a positive attitude are essential.

• Standing – Most tasks are performed from a standing position. Walking surfaces include ceramic tile and linoleum.
• Walking – For short distances and short durations. Delivery personnel travel between store and vehicle and from vehicle to customers.
• Sitting – Paperwork is normally completed in an office at a desk or table.
• Lifting – Bulk product deliveries of up to 50 pounds; cases may be stacked up to 72" high.
• Carrying – Large cans (≈3 lb), pizza sauce (≈30 lb), trays of dough (≈12 lb each) are carried.
• Pushing/Pulling – Trays on dollies require up to 7.5 lb force to push.
• Climbing – Infrequent navigation of stairs or ladders; delivery may require five or more flights of stairs.
• Reaching – Continuous reaching up, down, forward, and above 72" occasionally.

• Deliver pizzas within the designated delivery area.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.

• Pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, and pizza peel.
